Bonnie DeSalvo, Secretary/Treasurer, currently works as an Administrative Director of Social Services at the NYC Department of Homeless Services, the agency which oversees the city’s shelter system.
Bonnie has a BA in Accounting/Economic from CUNY/Queens College and an MBA in Executive Management from St. John’s University. It is while at St. John’s that she began singing with their Sunday Community Choir and has been there ever since…over 20 years! She also served for several years as music librarian at Saint Anthony’s Parish in Yonkers as well as an occasional member of the choir there. Prior to that, she spent many years on the planning and liturgy committees for Young Adult Ministry conferences in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
Bonnie has been a member of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians since 1996.

Francis Gargani, Prayer & Hospitality, is a native of Mt. Vernon, New York. After being formed by the Mercy sisters in the parish school of Sacred Heart and at Mt. St. Michael Academy with the Marists in the Bronx, Francis entered the Redemptorists. He served two parishes of his Community, one located in Saratoga Springs, NY, and the other in Pittsburgh, PA. He then attended Catholic University, receiving an M.A. in liturgical studies. After seven years as campus minister at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, he moved back to New York to serve as retreat director at the Redemptorist Mt. St. Alphonsus Retreat House in Esopus, NY. During those years, he studied in the Masters program at Fordham in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction.
In 2000 he moved into a ministry focused on social justice and in 2010 became the superior of the Redemptorist Provincial Community residing in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. Happy to lay claim of participating in NPM’s very first convention at Marywood College in Scranton, Francis is a student of the arts and music and is happy to be part of our NPM Community once again!

Wendell J. Laurent, Director of Social Media, currently works as the Vocation Team Coordinator for the northeastern U.S. provinces of the Society of Jesus. He is also the Associate Producer of THE SUNDAY MASS, a weekly televised ministry of Passionist Communications, which can be seen on the ABC Family Network (www.TheSundayMass.org). Wendell holds a B.A. in Theatre and Communications from Loyola University New Orleans and an M.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Caldwell College in Caldwell, NJ. He is also a spiritual director trained through the VENI program at Mt. Manresa Jesuit Retreat House in Staten Island.
For over ten years, Wendell was a member of the choir at the Church of St. Francis Xavier in Manhattan. He is currently a member of The Ignatian Schola (www.IgnatianSchola.org), a Manhattan-based vocal ensemble dedicated to exploring prayer through vocal music.

Jennifer Pascual, Consul to the Executive Committee, is the Director of Music at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in New York City. Jennifer earned a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the Eastman School in Rochester, NY. She holds a Master of Music Degree from Mannes College in New York. She received the Bachelor of Music Degrees in Performance and Education from Jacksonville University, FL. She has served as liturgical musician in the (Arch) Dioceses of St. Augustine, FL, Rochester, NY, Newark, NJ and New York, NY. Jennifer is Professor and Director of Music of St. Joseph’s Seminary and College in New York.
In 2008, Dr. Pascual conducted all the liturgical music for Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to New York and conducted the Cathedral of St. Patrick Choir at the White House for National Day of Prayer. Dr. Pascual was named a Dame of the Order of St. Gregory, papal recognition of service to the Church and has conducted both the NY Archdiocesan Festival Chorale and the Cathedral Choir of St. Patrick in Rome and Vatican City. She hosts a radio show called “Sounds from the Spires” on SIRIUS/ XM radio, Mondays 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Eastern. Jennifer has performed in Italy, Austria, Canada, the Philippines, throughout the United States and has three CDs on the JAV label available at www.pipeorgancds.com.
Dr. Pascual currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Pastoral Musicians, of which she has been a member for over twenty years.

Christopher Reilly, Chapter Director, currently serves as the Director of Music for the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, the Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers, as well as serving as the Director of Music for the Eastern American Province of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. He has served as Director Music (& Liturgy) in several parishes in the Archdiocese of New York, most recently Saint Anthony’s, Nepera Park, Yonkers and Saint Raymond’s in the Bronx while teaching music, drama and communications as well as directing the Glee Club at Dominican Academy in Manhattan and has also taught at Saint Raymond’s Schools in the Bronx.
Christopher has recently served as Principal Cantor for the Consistory and Pallium pilgrimages of Cardinal Timothy Dolan in Rome. He is a well-known cantor, organist and choral conductor throughout the Archdiocese of New York. He has studied Philosophy at Saint John’s University, Gregorian Chant through the Pontifical Academy for Sacred Music in Rome and has studied Organ privately with Paul-Martin Maki.
Christopher is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, American Guild of Organists and has been a member of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians since 1997.
